persicaria affinis (polygonum affine) is commonly known as fleece flower. the evergreen ground covering plant is showing its flowers from june to october. after it has established it’s drought tolerant and can be used for sunny to partial shaded places.

from persicaria affinis are different cultivars available, flowering more reddish or pinkish. the hardy plant can be propagated by cuttings, division or seeds. it is sometimes sold under its old name bistorta affinis.
